Raymond O. LINN, 75, retired farmer and former county road superintendent, died Friday while wintering in Mesa. Ariz. Born near Mace on April 25, 1892, he was a son of Everett M. and Dora Morris Linn. His first marriage was to Hazel Flanigan, who is deceased. Later he married Ruth Coombs, who survives with two sons, Keith of Brownsburg and Henry of Jamestown; a daughter, Mrs. Bernice Harshbarger of Napa, Calif.; his father, in Mace; a brother, Lyle of Mesa; a sister, Mrs. Edith Shannon of Mace, and five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Mr. Linn was a member of the Shannondale Presbyterian Church and Masonic Lodge 186 of Darlington. He farmed most of his life, previously living in Advance neighborhood and more recently in Cottonwood Trailer Court. Funeral services are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hunt and Son Funeral Home, where friends may call after 1 p.m. Tuesday and where Masonic rites are held at 8 p.m. Tuesday. Rev. William E. Thompson will be the officiating minister and burial will be in Shannondale Cemetery. - transcribed by kbz
